12 March 2020 Fishing

We were slapped by the Beaver twice...

Another glorious sunrise makes one appreciate the daylight...

The first Spot in the boat...on Mepps Spinner

A Catfish from Sean on Gulp minnow.

A 4 pound Largemouth from Sean....The Catch of the Day

Fishing was slow at Mountain Island, water muddy from the rains at around 54F.  The lake even looked a bit different from all the downed trees, eroded banks, and submerged logs.  A warm sunny 73F by noon.  The birds, hawks, and turtles up and active, but the fish have not turned yet.  And then there was that BEAVER...
