The health and well-being of our community and the world beyond are of utmost importance to Charlotte Providence Rotary and the larger Rotary community. Due to COVID 19 public health concerns, we have made the hard decision to postpone our largest annual fundraising event until November 7. Fishing was slow at Mountain Island, water muddy from the rains at around 54F.  The lake even looked a bit different from all the downed trees, eroded banks, and submerged logs.  A warm sunny 73F by noon.  The birds, hawks, and turtles up and active, but the fish have not turned yet.  And then there was that BEAVER...
