Back to the (Mountain Island) Lake

Another beautiful sunrise at 34F.

Sean got the biggest fish of the day, weighing in a 4 pounds, which is big for a spot.

Down the hatch.

The recent heavy rains and storms took a toll on the tree lined banks of the Catawba.  This is one of many trees that fell.  This tree root system is about 12 feet high.
Great day out on the water.  34F foggy cold to start.  Then as fog lifted, the spotted bass were a gulpin.  Temp in afternoon was about 63F.  Water high, many trees down.
