Mountain Island Lake early May fishing

Bright yellow sunny.

Spotted Bass

Foul hooked River Cooter in need of manicure.
Nice day, late start, water now in the 63F area, air was high 70s. 83 fish and a turtle were caught and released safely.  A mix of bass and sunnies were caught on plastics, cranks, and Gulp minnows.
