A wonderful show on this Saturday night.  There were songs for the kids, for the adults, for the phone watchers, and the game players.  And of course, there was 'The Last Macaron'.

Road Trip (fishing) ~ Hilton Head



From Charlotte down to an overnight stop in Columbia, SC, then on to Hilton Head the following morning for fishing on the Pathfinder with Capt. Trent Malphrus.  Bite was good early on but then slowed as day progressed.  Weather was foggy 60ish degrees, water flat.  In all, a great way to spend one of the last days of the year.  Oh, and then after fishing for 5 hours, a drive back to Charlotte.

Fishing was slow on shiny lures, spoons, spinner baits.  This one caught on a Smoothie Spool (one of our favorite spoons for Spanish Mackeral)

Winter's chill view as we wait for spring/summer.

28F at 9am to about 54 at 3pm.  Foggy morning on the lake with the water up higher than we can remember.  The dock ramp was under water, so boaters had to jump and get wet feet.  After fog lifted, some sun then some clouds.  Fishing slow but nice day to be on the water.  Today, 3 beavers were spotted in the water.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
