30-June-2013 ~ Mountain Island Lake

Water temp 78F, high noon time about 85F.  We caught a good bit of bass and bluegills, but most of the time was spent throwing live and cut bluegill trying to catch a 'river monster'.  Sir Sean lost 4 of them.  One, in particular, he said felt huge...to be continued...

23-June-2013 ~ Mountain Island Lake

Water temp was 76F, air topped off at 85F at lunchtime.  We were on the water at 5:30am.  Stripers were caught on various spoons.   Largemouth, Spotted Bass, and bluegills/sunnies were caught.  All fish were released.

On the water at 5:30am.  Water temp was about 74F.  Fishboy and I caught 33 fish total: largmouth and spotted bass, bluegills, and sunnies.  The 4 shown in the photo were a lunchtime snack.  All others, and most of the fish we catch, are released.

On the water at 5:30am.   80F and water about 64F.  Caught some spotted bass, bluegills, largemouth bass.  Lost a few big ones.
